Hidden Gems

One of my favourite and apparently untapped Plus Fashion resources it Reitmans.  So many of my favourite pieces have come from Reitmans.  They sell jeans up to a size 28.  They also produced some of my most favourite television ads. As we bid adieu to the dog days of summer I transition from flip-flops and breezy summer dresses into cropped jeans and crisp, pressed shirts.  Though the humidity likes to hang out through to the end of September, I love the crisp mornings and cool evenings.   A cute pair of heels can take a casual outfit into girls' night out in a flash.  I picked these cuties up at a thrift store on Roncesvalles here in Toronto.  I love...

I entered the Miss Fuller Woman Canada competition and was crowned on July 16, 2016.  To say that I’m still shocked is an understatement. I entered the competition with just one goal in mind: to have fun.   Many people speak of their journey, whether that journey is to self-love, self-discovery or weight-loss, each story is their own.  And I 100% cannot relate.  I came from the womb ready to take on the world.  I attack every opportunity with...
